  1. I read the book years before I saw the movie and I was not disappointed Jonathan demme did excellent job of recreating the atmosphere of the book into the movie with stellar performances from entire cast I have yet to see any faithful adaptation books to film since Silence of the lambs damn shame!

  2. “To see the convulsions, agonies and tortures of a poor fellow-creature, whom they cannot restore nor recompense, dying to gratify luxury and tickle callous and rank organs, must require a rocky heart, and a great degree of cruelty and ferocity. I cannot find any great difference between feeding on human flesh and feeding on animal flesh, except custom and practice”~George Cheyne

“Nothing more strongly arouses our disgust than cannibalism, yet we make the same impression on Buddhists and vegetarians, for we feed on babies, though not our own.” — Robert Louis Stevenson

"To my mind, the life of a lamb is no less precious than that of a human being. I should be unwilling to take the life of a lamb for the sake of the human body." –Mohandas Gandhi

“There will come a time in the future where we look back in shame at how we ate and used other animals for our pleasure. We will recoil at the violence we sowed upon them for our selfish desires. Just like all forms of oppression and exploitation that have come before us, animal exploitation will end. Which side of history will you be on when the history books have been written?”

“I used to be you. I used to turn a blind eye to the suffering of animals for my food, clothing, entertainment and household items. I used to tell myself that animals didn't matter, that my needs far exceeded the needs of some chicken in a factory. Humans are superior, at least that is what I thought. And then I could no longer live with myself, participating in the exploitation and murder of others for my selfish needs. And then I went vegan and really became me.”

  3. ….And Gene Hackman missed out on making an assload of cash over the years. Probably passed on being in Back to the Future and Star Wars too,lol

  4. Lechter makes the story, don't really give a toss knowing anything deep about Clarice. In fact when I hear that name, all I think about is Dwight in the Fire Drill episode of The Office

  5. I totally want more of Dr Hannibal Lector but Anthony Hopkins came out saying to become Hannibal Lector always took a heavy toll on him emotionally and no one wants that so I guess we will just have to be happy with what we have rather than seek more. There is so much to explore with this character as got a taste with Hannibal Rising but can you imagine seeing Dr Frederick Chilton
suffer his fate on screen?? The TV Series was good as well but it went off on its own tangent and did not fit in with the movies and the lore the movies established at the end.

  6. The transgender issue came across perfectly clear. You are just talking about SJW who look for anything to complain about

  7. The book was just as homophobic and transphobic. I wouldn’t blame the movie for being true to the book.

  8. I am scared and feel so bad for movie writers and almost any comedian. It is pretty much impossible to write anything that won't offend anyone. Everyone is so up in arms in the last 10 to 15 years that people are having to walk on glass. Good luck guys. I love to laugh and love moves and comedians that make me laugh. I have your backs.

  9. Wow I have no idea about the story behind the movie. I absolutely loved the movie and I would not change a thing. 100% classic amazing movie 💗💗💗

  10. If you get offended by a movie, a scene, or just a line from a movie, then you're the one who has issues. Silence of the Lambs is just a movie, and Buffalo Bill is not a representation of all homosexuals or transgender people. He's merely a character who wishes to be something he's not, and due to mental instability he is turned down for many surgical procedures. Another example is Blazing Saddles. The 'N' word is used several dozen times in the movie, by several dozen people. Now, this word offends many black people, primarily those in America due to how big slavery and racism was in our country. I have met many black folk, young and old, who love Blazing Saddles because they find it funny, even when the 'N' word is repeatedly spewed out. The reason for that is because they don't find it offensive. They don't see it as being directed at them, merely just an insult, and like all insults, if you let it get to you then it will.
Now for a less sensitive explanation. This world has a lot of people with their feelers stuck out a mile long, but I truly believe that America officially contains the largest group of cry babies on the planet! America kicked England's ass back in the Revolutionary War! They helped defeat Nazi Germany, and covered up Extraterrestrial encounters! Now, it still is remembered for those things, but there are so many people who try to be something they're not, who find something offensive and try to abolish it, and it's just getting annoying.
Sooner or later you have to outgrow these petty insecurities, and others have to accept that they were born a male or female, and changing to become what they weren't is pretty stupid. Now I say stupid because I personally know a few transsexuals, and they regret their decision for a number of reasons, the main one is that they're always sick. Because their body was used to testosterone (and one was used to estrogen), the near lack of those chemicals, and the abundance of the alternate affected them so drastically that they now get sick easily, and one of them has back deformities (imagine Igor from Young Frankenstein) along with severe heart problems which the doctors did conclude came from the large amounts of estrogen he had in his body for the last several years (I say 'he' because that's what he was born as, and that's what I've always known him as).

  11. From a born and raised Wisconsin girl. Not bad on pronouncing my home states name. Drives me nuts when people pronounce it wrong constantly!

  12. Hey you! If you haven't already, you should check out the series HANNIBAL. Mads Mikkelsen plays Lecter better than anyone else…in my humble opinion, of course!
